Do you remember quarantine when everyone was making bread and dancing and making art and taking care of plants and just learning new useful skills?

you know, like what life is supposed to be?

I have never baked bread but dancing is an important part of any cooking process. Besides, I'm an essential worker. So I was never under lockdown.

And folks were focused on supporting and connecting with others? It was like we were all human for a month. The beautiful spots in the middle of the nightmare.
I hated it but now I want it back because I'm exhausted

I was in front of my laptop for 8 hours and had to send a message to the government to go for a walk but at least nature was thriving .

I worked so the only thing that changed was being forced to wear a mask and some social events being canceled

I said it before and I will say it again. The covid shutdown was the most lit time of my life. Only the massive blackout that knocked power out along th entire Great lakes and mid-atlantic to New England coast came close.

Both times I felt like this is how it should be.
