I lost hopes for relationship and friendship

Especially in real world. I had a long term friend whom I liked alot but she kicked me out of her life after 7 years. Then I met someone she become a great friend and encouraged me to join this gym. We did join the gym and after that I am nothing to her. She doesn't even wants to talk or look at me. I mean how strange people can behave? I would welcome people who are honest and trustworthy. But in real life it's hard to find genuine people.

As a man, there's a certain level of coldness that you have to accept in this world if you want to continue doing stuff in it. People just aren't going to care about you because you're nice or genuine or whatever. You have to be willing to work harder, to give more, and to sacrifice regularly to make your connections work.

Most people are less interested in who you are as opposed to what you can do for them. Even those who claim to want kindness and honesty and all that jazz will dump you if you're not fulfilling some other desire or need for them. That's the sad part about it. People are pretty self-involved, so if you want them around, you have to find a way of using that to keep your connections alive

So true.
