what the hell is going on...
with my feed? has everyone abandoned this site or are my settings just whacked? i can't seem to figure it out any more.

The admins seem to only care about their own visions of this place and seem to go out of their way to impose their wills upon the masses despite repeated complaints over certain things.
A minority asks for a down-vote icon and they get it.
A majority complain about title requirements, and it falls upon deaf ears.
An admin says he wants to consolidate thousands of groups to make navigation easier and now multiple admins spend hours doing it despite no one ever complaining about the overlaps.
Add in all the negative interactions, and weirdo posts and you have what seems to be a mass exodus of folks that might have otherwise stayed as contributing members.

@Tminus6453 Same here. No amount of complaining work. This includes more than the feeds. I hate seeing the admins praised for doing a good job!

I'm thinking the best plan, apart from just leaving the site altogether, is: Try to find one or two members who can carry on civil, intelligent conversation by direct message or, maybe even better, by email; and abandon the 'feed' that's so hacked apart & disjointed that there are no longer any threads to follow.

@boudinMan I believe in letting people determine their own fate and an equitable pay structure that balance a company's financial security with the needs of it's employees. The truth is that the richest companies in the world have the poorest workers on average in the US and the world... There's only one reason for that. It's greed tethered to a lack of compassion.
