Yes . I've done that . I'm not a person who is afraid to be alone . I've been alone ..I take no prisoners ..I'd rather have no friends than fake ones .
Good for you !

I keep a very small and tight circle, in real life or online. It would take a long time for anyone to make it to friend level. The screening process happens early on.

I hardly ditch people, but friendships can still fade away. I like to think I don't befriend people whom I expect to be asshats. 😅

I’ve cut ties with toxic friends and family. It can hurt for a bit but it’s always better in the long run.

A few times now i either got dropped or dropped everyone myself. Im finding myself content with being alone. These days i prefer acquaintances and small chats in passing. I have to much going on to have the responsibility of friends. Sometimes it does suck doing things alone but im free to do what ever i want really.

No! I love my real life friends so why would I do that? Online is different but still don’t wipe…just get bored and communication stops naturally!

You've got to do what you've got to do
It is better to have no friends than bad friends but it is a hard road
I also question where to draw the line, because sometimes you can see someones faults and work around them, given none of us are perfect
Giving myself permission to fire people who I come away from feeling generally worse, was one of the best decisions I've ever made

@SW-User yeah, I have tried, but definitely just draining connections I can’t support anymore

You shouldn’t keep people around that make you feel that way. That’s not a friend. Also they should never try to be controlling you either. I am glad you are standing up for yourself.

Yes i kept ones that help me without asking cause they know me and i do the same for them.
