It's spread by skin on skin contact so as long as your intimate partner doesn't tend to rub up against a lot of people, it should be fine. For now it's way more prevalent in the gay male community, though everyone should be aware and looking out for sores in the people around them

Breast cancer is referred to as a woman’s health crisis .
Why isnt this pox rightfully labeled as a gay mens health crisis is what I am wondering .

Imagine if a virus affected 99% black peoples, or women.
The govt is doing gay men no favors by not calling it what it is .

@AthrillatheHunt Then while it would seem I'm very high risk, I'm actually very low since I'm no longer either sexually or socially in any real contact with men. In fact, I mostly talk to women.

I would say, be very mindful of it. Learn what can from the WHO about the disease and try to get a vaccine if a safe one is available. I hope that thing does not turn into another pandemic. We are still dealing with COVID.
