tbh apart from the obvious attention seekers like politics/sx/religion i wish there was a feature like fb which notifies you when a friend posts bc this site has copied Instagram's feed which is genuinely messed up and caused issues for many ppl including me as i don't even use ig but miss out my friends updates for a stupid meme and it makes it look like i don't care, so often it's not even about the content, just that your post isn't even visible on the feed

People love shit and hate sincerity. I like your poetry though

personally what i notice is the more you are here and post the more interactions you get. i think it's like facebook where the algorithm shows you more if you post or interact more. i could be wrong

I wonder how much the algorithms filter by post length? I'd guess a shitpost has far less characters than poetry, and poetry less characters than a personal information sharing blog type post.

It's pathetic and one reason I've lost interest.

And some of the old(er) members who should be a good example, chime in on those childish posts about bathroom habits, etc... 🤦‍♀️

People like to talk about themselves and personal posts about your own internal feelings and dialogue won't be as well received.

These types of posts are good, as we are all on the same site and experience a lot of the same things.
