How do you even start a conversation?

Ask them questions about themselves. Most folks like talking about themselves or their interests.

I don't know how to start one honestly. I almost wait for someone to message me first. Unless i have a question i need to ask. If the conversation flows easily I'll continue talking

I usually start by saying my left nut is bigger than my right one. Or I ask if they know John Olinger.

Starting one sucks but to keep one going I’d listen more than I talk and if they talk about certain things go try those things yourself and tell them about how you experienced it, be genuine about it though.

I find it hard to have conversations. I either get bored or overwhelmed. It's really hard to find that fine balance where it feels easy with someone.

Pick a good topic. 17th century torture techniques are an especially effective conversation starter. Especially at dinner parties

I could find the best conversation wih a homeless person on the streets. Listen well and set aside your thinker.
