How do you develop meaningful adult relationships?

I just had surgery. Not one of them called to see how my recovery is going.

That's a sad downside of growing older. It's so much harder to make friends. 😔

@DearAmbellina2113 definitely. between work and family and other responsibilities. plus, while you're a kid, you're encouraged to make friends at school while being discouraged from making friends at work. i get along well with colleagues but "work friends" aren't people i'd confide about personal things.
