Age difference

Is It normal for a 50 year old man
To be hanging out and drink with 19-23yr olds ?

Tell me it's not normal !? And why would they do it ?

My friends and I used to invite our professors out for drinks, if they were cool guys. But I agree, if he is not a professor he is trying to score something. Not sure what kind of something.
