We Americans are taught never to quit. I think we overdue it. There are many good reasons to quit. You just listed one of the top reasons. Life is too short to surround myself with those who bring me down, but even more so those who don't lift me up.

@BiasForAction Well said. And that sinks kinda deep as I was indeed taught to never give up... Certainly a paradox or sorts.
