Anyway...

The apostle Paul didn't say [b]"don't drink"[/b] but rather don't get drunk. Does that mean I can have one glass of wine and be tipsy and call it a day 😅?

I quit alcohol 8 years ago just saying. I'm just curious that's all.

He is saying that you need to get high on God, and the Holy Spirit. He is saying don't get drunk.

JESUS said, "Take a little wine for the good of thy stomach."

IMO, it's okay to sip on a small glass of wine, unless your religion forbids it, but after that, you should shut yourself off.

@Thandeka Sorry. He said it in his letter to Timothy who he refers to as his son but it is unclear whether he was his actual biological son.

@Matt85 My brother told me it was Jesus...but you are probably right. He used to make his own wine, and would get so drunk he would lean sideways on his chair and fall off...🤣🤣🤣 I am quite sure he would have blamed Jesus for it...🤣🤣🤣. (Maybe not...JK!!!).
