You can do it by stages, and find what works for you.
Stage 1 cut back on red meat. It's the food that's worst for the planet, and you weren't evolved for it to make up too much of your diet anyway.
Stage 2 cut out red meat.
Stage 3 cut back on chicken and fish
stage 4 cut back on dairy and eggs
stage 5 cut out chicken and fish
People on full vegan diets have trouble getting all the vitamins and minerals they need; so many of them develop weaker bones over time; some lose muscle strength. You CAN eat vegan and get enough vitamins and minerals, but it's not easy and the problems can take a while to emerge. A vegetarian diet, which includes dairy is much easier to do right. Adding eggs makes it easier still.

@ElwoodBlues That is why I am not going vegan, I eat a lot of eggs and drink milk (plus I love cheese).
Eating beans, lentils, quinoa gives you lots of protein. Plus I eat a lot of vegetables.
I do still eat meat but I really enjoy it more now.
