No. Despite what people think, most vegans don't really care what you eat. They made a personal choice that has nothing to do with you. I don't understand the vegan hate. Are people afraid of vegans?

@SW-User thanks for your reply, I tried to eat more of a balanced diet and I’ve actually eating more vegetarian food lately so less meat, I think society has a whole is moving more to a plant-based diet anyway, Happy to have a friendly discussion on this if anybody want to chat.

@SW-User I think they usually care but keep it to themselves.

@SW-User My mother became vegetarian/vegan for the second half of her life. Most people didn’t realize, unless they specifically offered her food. I learned to cook vegan dishes so I could cook for her and Pop later on.

@GlitterEater it just bugs me when I've never seen a vegan go out of their way to be rude to a meat eater, yet meat eaters act like vegans are the bane of existence. Of course they care, I care, but we know better than to argue with someone who clearly doesn't.

@SW-User The only people I’ve encountered who were impolite about it were online, and it was the idea they disputed. But in rl, I haven’t had the experience of someone approaching me in a restaurant or market to criticize my food choices.

@SW-User I've noticed this too, I've heard a few non-vegans acting like vegans are trying to force their lifestyle on everyone when in reality they've made a personal lifestyle change for themselves and are not waving it around like a flag.
Some people feel threatened by lifestyle choices that go in a different direction from their own.

@robingoodfellow if it's not one thing it's another. And veganism is as non threatening as it gets.

@robingoodfellow I long for a day when we can be ourselves and exist without criticism and hate.
