Mangos in the Philippines are like custard. The ones we get in the US are smaller and have fiberous flesh.

Buyer beware. These tidbits are full of the fruit preservative-equivalent of human embalming fluid, which is why maraschino cherries as well are still edible after 10 years of floating in a jar.
