Yes, from an 'elotero' in an area we called "little Mexico". It was good, and the street vendor was well known to people there. Sadly, he was shot and killed.

6 ears corn, shucked, rinsed
mayonnaise
1/4 c.
Mexican crema or sour cream
1/3 c.
grated cotija cheese
3 tsp.
chili powder
Chopped fresh cilantro and lime wedges, for serving

Step 1Prepare a grill for medium-high heat; heat 5 minutes (or preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat).
Step 2Grill corn, turning often, until slightly charred all over, about 10 minutes.
Step 3Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and crema.
Step 4Transfer corn to a platter. Brush with mayonnaise mixture. Top with cotija, chili powder, and cilantro. Serve warm or at room temperature with lime wedges alongside.

yup, it´s pretty great, try it with lime and chili powder, or sour cream, a spread of mayo and grated cheese if you are not into spicy flavors.
I prefer the corn in a cup presentation thou just because i´m a bit lazy and choose to use a spoon instead of chomping down the cob 😹

@N00dle I’ve seen this at a flea market where I sold stuff for a while with Mexican families walking around carrying them and eating it with a spoon.

Nope. I've heard about it, and I've seen it on cooking shows, but corn is big carbs, and it's not on my new diet, unfortunately. 😟
