If their family owns a restaurant and that secret recipe dish is a popular one that other restaurants would love to replicate, I totally get it. But if you’re just some average joe and pretty much keeping it a secret just for the sake of it, pretty much, I truly don’t understand. A sense of heirloom, maybe? Idfk, it’s dumb.
