@NativePortlander1970 You’ve never tried it have you? I worked with a Romanian lady who made cabbage rolls for me and she also made polenta. It was good but it was thicker than this and she made a simple version compared to this recipe. It’s made with cornmeal. I love cornmeal mush, sliced and breaded with flour and fried with a little butter for breakfast.

@cherokeepatti I have had polenta, my late ex fiancee was half Italian, she loved it, she used to make it similar to your post's recipe.
