I feel your pain. I am pre diabetic, and my doctor has put me on a "No white foods" diet. The worst of it is...no crisps, no sugar, no potatoes, no baked goods...no rice...nothing really good. My meals consist of big salads, or big plates of cooked veggies with a small amount of meat, usually.
This week I am being a LITTLE bit rebellious, and am having baked fish with gluten free Panko bread crumbs. I am hoping gluten free Panko crumbs do NOT count as a white food...and if you know that they do...please don't tell me...馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ

@darkmere1983 But most fruit is okay. I find that unsweetened applesauce is actually sweet enough to make me feel like I've had a bit of dessert.
Gradually, you'll get used to your new diet. Continue.
