Corned beef hash

We have a severe weather warning and it's just started snowing. It's just the night for stodgy comfort food. My gran used to make this and everyone loves it 😊

Fry up two large onions, cover the onions with sliced corned beef and canned baked beans, then a good layer of mashed potatoes and finally, top with grated cheese.

@Kerrmit84 Can't be baked in the oven though but would still taste just as good if done over a fire. I've made this many times on our canal boat 😊

@Patientlywaiting usually cornbeef mix in one pan mash in the other then put the 2 together and whack under grill for 5 minutes

@Kerrmit84 I'm too delicate for camping. Tried it once, bent one of the tent poles and spent the entire time cleaning.

@Patientlywaiting haha its not for everyone i love it. Either family trips in.campervan or canoeing down river or lake to a wild camp spot on the shore. Bliss
