Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo Soup with Dried Shrimp
Dried shrimp are very tiny, and have a slightly stronger seafood flavor than fresh shrimp, which makes them perfect in a soup. No photo is available.
1 Quart Chicken Broth
1 Package Knorr Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo, prepared according to package directions
1 small package, (about 2 oz), Camarones Secas, (in English, dried shrimp).
Prepare Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo according to package directions. Remove tiny tails from shrimp and discard.
Bring chicken broth to boil, and add shrimp. Reduce heat to low, and simmer while Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo cooks and rests.
When Angel Hair Pasta Alfredo is complete, add to chicken broth and shrimp and stir well.
Serves 4.
If you allow the soup to sit in the refrigerator for one day, the chicken broth will become very creamy in appearance, and the flavor of the tiny shrimp will be infused in the broth.
