Do you have a favorite fall/winter recipe?

This is one of my easy, go-to recipes for fall and winter. It's one I found online several years ago and altered to make it my own. Takes about 45 minutes from start to serve, and is even better the next day.

Post yours so we can have an SW Fall/Winter Recipe thread.

Pumpkin soup, just boiled loads of pumpkin diced onion in it and loads of black pepper. Let's face it nobody normally eats pumpkin anyway.

@GeniUs I prefer butternut squash in recipes that call for pumpkin. Has a richer flavor.

@GeniUs I've several times made scratch pumpkin pie filling from the meat of pumpkins and it is delicious - the soup sounds darn good too.
