New Years Eve 2021 Ham, Veggie and Cheese Rolls

1 package of 12 Brown and serve rolls, room temperature

About 16 oz or more of frozen Normandy Vegetables, cooked according to directions, WELL drained, and chopped. (Cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini and carrots).

3 large slices ham, (about 1 lb of your favorite sort), chopped in 3/4" pieces).

Shredded cheddar cheese (I didn't measure, but I put a healthy pinch on top of each roll).

SMOKED Spanish paprika. The smoked business is important, because these rolls are bland otherwise.

With a small, sharp paring knife, remove a circle of bread from the center of each roll.
Fill each hollowed out roll with chopped ham 3/4 full.
Cook and drain the frozen vegetables very thoroughly before chopping them. Place them on top of the ham until they are used up.

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Top the ham and veggies with shredded cheddar cheese as generously as possible, and then give the cheese a healthy sprinkle of the smoked Spanish paprika.

Bake for 10 minutes. If you want the rolls a bit more brown, 12 minutes.

Appetizer to serve 12, luncheon for 6, or casual dinner sandwiches for 4.

Variation...same directions, but fill with scrambled eggs, top with shredded cheese, and garnish with crumbled crisp cooked bacon.
Looks good. I love paprika. I'm making enchiladas later. Right now I'm making peanut butter blossoms and gingerbread cake.

@Spoiledbrat Mmmm! What are peanut butter blossoms?
They're little peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses in the middle. @4meAndyou
