Why are my lips so chapped already?!?

It’s not even fall yet

*lays down with fan blowing directly on me*
thepersistentpanda · 31-35, M
@WaryWitchWandering Nope. Even a puff brings it back on. Gonna have to take a few days break probably... unfortunately, my days aren't filled with much of anything at this point and sitting around NOT being high is fucking miserable. :D

I'm just so very, very tired of being disabled. This isn't what I had planned for my adult experience at all. 😂

@thepersistentpanda do you like to doodle? Or paint? Or take photos? Or write shit?

You can still use your awesome mind to do shit 😊

It’ll be more than ok, take a while off weed. When I was pregnant with my children I felt amazing mentally (was more in tune with everything)… I was completely sober no bad chemicals or drugs or anything. I don’t know how to make myself go back to that, with out it being about somebody else. I could be my best because I had to for a baby growing inside of me. I had to make every right choice and it did not even bother me bc it wasn’t about me… that thought does apply to them being here now in present time, but I slip up at times and want my vices

@WaryWitchWandering I do a lot of writing and a lot of guitar playing. :) Working on some really catchy stuff right now that lyrics are being difficult with haha.

It's just tough because weed is the only thing that keeps my heart rate and blood pressure stable as well so being off it makes things a bit weird. Just gonna have to get through it though. 😅

I put a little Vaseline on my lips at night and it prevents them from chapping or cracking.
Scarfface · 41-45, M
I get random chap lips, I have lip balm available all year to stop it flaring up.
The fan doesn't help 😂 use your lip balm.
some mornings I cough and gag on post nasal… and it will make me nauseous or I will legit work it up and out…
Try taking a SINGULAR®
"★ Is Singulair good for sinus? ★ It reduces congestion in your nose and also cuts down on sneezing, itching, and eye allergies. For people with allergies and asthma, it helps reduce inflamation in your airways. It works by stopping the action of a chemical called leukotriene, which causes your nasal passages to swell and make a lot of mucus… take your dose in the evening." WebMD

Potato chips... Interesting 🤔
Hydrate. Humidify room.

Cut back on salt, and acidic foods.

Try not to lick lips frequently.
WaryWitchWandering · 31-35, F
@SethGreene531 I drink a ton of water

I do bite at my lips a lot, and when they are chapped i kinda pick/peel haha …
@WaryWitchWandering Ha ha Yeah biting or peeling seems to perpetuate it.
Once that stops, and with a good balm, it should clear.
(and no potato chips!!)
rrraksamam · 31-35, M
All they need is moisture. Drink some water and lick them occasionally. Problem solved.
WaryWitchWandering · 31-35, F
@rrraksamam I do that

Probably cold air blowing on them. Or sitting around with AC. On all the time
TheManHimself · 31-35, M
Hopefully you aren't kissing anyone with those razor sharp lips
tacobell · 26-30, M
Happens if you been in the sun alot.
WaryWitchWandering · 31-35, F
@tacobell I haven’t as much recently, and now they are actually more chapped! But it’s been so hot that I constantly have AC on or go to sleep with fan blowing like directly at me

I think it’s just fucking my shit up haha
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
Air from that fan will dry them
LvChris · 41-45, M
I always put a fan on me when I lay down for the night.
WaryWitchWandering · 31-35, F
@LvChris I think it fucks with my sinuses and lips and may not be for the best. Not to mention being in AC a lot this time of year.
LvChris · 41-45, M
@WaryWitchWandering I make sure not to point it at my face. That's also what happens to me. I point it from my shoulder down, like it's to the side of my head, but pointed below it by a foot or so. I get the air moving on my back and waist. 🥴
