Went out for pizza tonight and I wasn't happy. What are your thoughts on this?

Half the toppings seem to be missing. When I said something they didn't see a problem. What are your thoughts on this? Would you accept it?

There is no sense in that but these days some workers just don’t care and maybe the owner told them to cut back on toppings. This is the type of thing that motivated me to learn how to make my own pizzas and other foods.

@cherokeepatti You are actually very smart.

@Musicman Surprising how much money gets frittered away if a person doesn’t learn how to cook. I worked with a woman who never learned to cook anything, she refused to learn. And she seemed proud of it. Her husband would take her out for dinner every evening. She would buy something prepackaged for breakfast to have and buy food at the food court for lunch at work. I never knew anyone in my life who couldn’t slap lunchmeat together between two slices of bread. Her husband was older than her and died a year before she retired. She also never learned to drive. When she retired she found out that her retirement and Social Security was not enough to pay for that lifestyle of not cooking. She had someone to bring her for a visit less than a year after she retired and said she was going to have to get a job. The place she mentioned was Braums, a restaurant that sells burgers, ice cream etc. I thought it was ironic considering she had never prepared food before.

@cherokeepatti I know how to cook. I just don't enjoy it. We usually have dinner at home, but I like having breakfast or lunch out. 🙂

@Musicman yeah I understand that. I don’t go out for a meal often but it’s one of the few things I get to do outside. We are into a Thai restaurant now. I found out I could make our favorite dish and buy a gluten-free paste to season it so i ordered an 8-pack off of Amazon to be able to make it at home (rather simple with that Massaman curry paste). That and a pan of jasmine rice for dinner would be tasty.

@cherokeepatti That's great! We actually had Thai last night. No I didn't make it. We did to go and I picked it up.

@Musicman Massaman curry is probably one of the easiest dishes to make. I like curry with coconut milk as a base.

@cherokeepatti I don't know that I have ever had Curry.

@Musicman It’s one of the milder curries, you can tell them if you want it with more heat.
