NO! Would you put oranges, lemons, apples, grapes, bananas, on a pizza? NO NO NO

@IM5688 Hmmm, some good YES YES YES there. At least a sprinkling of lemon-juice.
After all, a plain pizza is very bland - just bread and cheese and/or ham. There is nothing exotic about pizzas: they were among the staples of ordinary Italian households, not strange delicacies at the fringes of Michelin-starred haute cuisine. There to be enhanced as one wants.
Not sure about bananas, I don't think they go well with savoury ingredients, but as with all fruit it would depend on the pizza's base ingredients.
Would be interesting to try it, perhaps using one of the basic pizzas from my local bakery, as they are only the bread and mild cheese for you to flavour as you wish. Apple and grape would go well with mild cheese; so does pineapple. Otherwise use the fruit uncooked within accompanying salad.
A ham pizza could be enhanced with apple, pineapple or possibly orange, Selecting a fruit to add to pizza using spiced meats would take more thinking about. Or experimenting!

@IM5688 apples go great on a feta and roasted pork pizza or a chicken pizza. I’ve never had orange on a pizza but with the right ingredients I’m sure it would be delicious. A little lemon or lemon juice on pizza is good. Apples and pineapple are the best fruit on a pizza other than tomatoes.
I’ve heard of bananas on pizza but very very rarely.
You clearly have no imagination and simply do the same boring things you’re family has done for centuries.

@IM5688 Basically all you want is an east coast tomato pie

@NativePortlander1970 Dough, sauce and cheese is a true pizza. One can enjoy each flavor of the basic pizza. Once you start adding toppings of any kind, you detract from the pizzas original flavor. Too many toppings and you can no longer taste the sauce or the cheese.
