My mother did, and when I was nine I got up early to make my Dad's lunch, the cold hard pb kept ripping the bread, so I would throw it away, by the time I threw out most of the loaf I was bawling my eyes out, so my Dad called off work, called me outbof school, we went to breakfast, went to the zoo and the science and industry museum, then to Star Wars, it was still playing at our local in 1979, the owner bought a copy and kept it playing. When we got home my mother was screeching like a harpy, "Why is the peanut butter out and a loaf of bread worth in the garbage!!!!!!" To which my Dad said, "It stays in the cupboard from now on." and left it at that.
