Virgin olive oil – 2 Tablespoon ( high quality olive oil will give your sauce fantastic flavor ).
Garlic cloves – 2 full cloves ( fresh garlic is key )
Whole tomatoes – 3 ( fresh ripe tomatoes ).
Tomato paste 1 full 400g can of Gino Tomato Paste
Fresh oregano – Must be fresh
Fresh basil – Must be fresh
Freshly ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Coarse sea salt – To taste
Red wine – 1/2 cap ( GRENACHE or MERLOT )
Balsamic vinegar – 1 tablespoon
Crushed red pepper flakes – 2 teaspoons
