I microwaved ramen noodles for three minutes even though it said on the Styrofoam that it shouldn't be microwaved?

I'm worried now
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
The hot liquid can deteriorate the styrofoam in the cup...but doing it a time or two won't kill you.
The acid from a lemon can eat right through the styrofoam, so you shouldn't microwave tea with lemon...and if you do it long enough you'll probably have tea all over the inside of the microwave.

You worry about the silliest things.

The reason it says not to microwave it because the noodles may not cook properly OR the styrofoam might melt.

@Thexboxoneguy1991 For my gambling money, I am going to bet you will survive the ordeal.

You are not going to croak or even get sick, quit worrying about it.

@CestManan what about those toxins on internet?

@Thexboxoneguy1991 Those toxins on the Internet?
Well, do not worry about that because you ate Ramen Noodles, you didn't eat the Internet.

Although Ironic hipster enough, the Internet DID eat facebook for a few hours.

Ummmm yyeahhh we'll talk about it.

I used to always microwave that cup o noodles. I didn't even know that You weren't supposed to.

I found out much later that chemicals leech off of that styrofoam cup when microwaved. So don't do it routinely.
But I've done it quite a few times and here I am.
Thexboxoneguy1991 · 31-35, M
@REMsleep yeah but am I still safe?
