Ughhhh fml

Was super hungry, went through the McDonald’s drive thru and ordered a double cheeseburger plain with extra cheese and a large order of fries. Get home, open my burger, and it has ketchup and pickles on it, both of which I absolutely hate 🤬

I need to remember to always check my food before driving away, especially with McDonald’s, they’re prone to these kinda fuck ups

Hey , they are great at doing that! Gave me my Big Mac once..... I was about to take a bite....realized it was filet of fish which I am allergic to!! It was interesting when I returned it.

I check my food in the drive through. They don’t like it but they abused my trust too many times! That’s how it goes! I do like pickles.but I hate ketchup and they give me ketchup often!

@Muthafukajones I need to do that but I forget
Yeah that happens all the time or there will be a missing item...I hate that you have to start ripping apart the order when they hand it to you but it's definitely necessary.

Oh noooo! That’s frustrating!!!

I can't imagine anyone who works at a place like McDonalds cares about anything except getting a paycheck.
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@hunkalove why?
I've learned to check every fast food place.

you know those YouTube videos where people go off on the employees at fast food restaurants

if I'm ever on a jury - they walk!
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@Pretzel do you mean the employees or the people berating them?
I don’t think it’s fair to go off on a fast food employee for making a mistake, and you don’t know if it was the person who took your order or the cook who made it. People make mistakes, it’s not a grave sin.

In this case I just called the McDonald’s and explained the mistake and asked if I could get credit towards a new burger or something. The lady said that I could get a free replacement burger if I come back. I told her a friend would be picking it up for me (a friend of mine was already about to head to my apartment) and she said sure, he just had to explain that he was picking it up for me and they would give him the correct burger I ordered for free. So it all worked out, and I gave my friend the burger I didn’t want lol

@Zeuro the people that go off on the employees

not really - they get violent

and I know it's a deadend job - but if you agree to take the money then you just the job - correctly.

they did make the mistake - they didn't check the order

there was a time not too long ago that you'd have a "double checked for accuracy" sticker on bag

now? they don't care who's order they give you.

I spent 30 bucks for three people - I expect the order to be correct.

so when they screw up and you bring it to their attention - they shouldn't talk to you like YOU'RE the problem.

sorry, makes my blood boil

@pineappleicenicotinebuzz I actually called the location, they gave me a free replacement burger, which my friend picked up for me.

I know i hated when they started putting pickles on my chicken sandwiches instead of lettuce 😤😤😤😤😤😡
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
sure but also why would you ever order a cheeseburger, which is the only burger that pretty much only has ketchup, mustard, and pickles? You just want bread and meat?
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@MartinTheFirst huh? I ordered a plain double cheeseburger with extra cheese, so just meat, cheese, and bun. What do you mean it’s the only burger that only has ketchup mustard and pickles? By definition a cheeseburger has cheese. And what else am I supposed to order if I just want a plain cheeseburger?
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@MartinTheFirst I don’t really get what you’re asking
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Zeuro mcdonalds cheeseburgers are a suboptimal decision for what you required, they're tiny and if they screw up your order than you will get the two things you hate. Instead you could for something else like the mctasty and order that plain. Good size, already has the extra cheese, and the sauce is awesome even if they accidentally add it
Familygirl · 46-50, F
Is it surprising considering the type of kid's they employ there
Zeuro · 26-30, F
@Familygirl what do you mean?

Well, the problem is you don't have any attention to details.
