Ughhhh fml

Was super hungry, went through the McDonald’s drive thru and ordered a double cheeseburger plain with extra cheese and a large order of fries. Get home, open my burger, and it has ketchup and pickles on it, both of which I absolutely hate 🤬

I need to remember to always check my food before driving away, especially with McDonald’s, they’re prone to these kinda fuck ups

you know those YouTube videos where people go off on the employees at fast food restaurants

if I'm ever on a jury - they walk!

@Pretzel do you mean the employees or the people berating them?
I don’t think it’s fair to go off on a fast food employee for making a mistake, and you don’t know if it was the person who took your order or the cook who made it. People make mistakes, it’s not a grave sin.

In this case I just called the McDonald’s and explained the mistake and asked if I could get credit towards a new burger or something. The lady said that I could get a free replacement burger if I come back. I told her a friend would be picking it up for me (a friend of mine was already about to head to my apartment) and she said sure, he just had to explain that he was picking it up for me and they would give him the correct burger I ordered for free. So it all worked out, and I gave my friend the burger I didn’t want lol

@Zeuro the people that go off on the employees

not really - they get violent

and I know it's a deadend job - but if you agree to take the money then you just the job - correctly.

they did make the mistake - they didn't check the order

there was a time not too long ago that you'd have a "double checked for accuracy" sticker on bag

now? they don't care who's order they give you.

I spent 30 bucks for three people - I expect the order to be correct.

so when they screw up and you bring it to their attention - they shouldn't talk to you like YOU'RE the problem.

sorry, makes my blood boil
