I’ve always loved their ice cream, but I’ve also loved that the founders (and this CEO, apparently) are progressive, like I am. That matters to me, and I wouldn’t knowingly support a Trump-backed company (I stopped buying Goya products, for example). Apparently it was Unilever that was responsible for the firing.

@bijouxbroussard I know for a fact that either one or both of their founders literally has no sense of taste, which is why they add stuff like chunks of chocolate to their ice cream to offer more "mouth feel."

There many types of capitalist in the democratic party. Even Harris claimed to be a capitalist.
Being a CEO of ANY corporation you're a capitalist no matter how liberal you are!
A true liberal however doesn't believe in corporations.
That portion of the 14th amendment should never have existed! The part that gave a CONCEPT of corporations rights.
A non-corporate business doesn't have 14 amendment rights.
Only corporations have 14th amendment rights.
You could be a conservative business owner and still not believe in corporations!

They should shut their trap on political issues and sell ice cream.
If they were really serious about what they claimed on July 4th theyd have handed their land to the Coosuk Abenaki Nation or at least given them a huge share of the company's profits.

This whole thing is a classic example of why selling out is bad if you want to your brand to hold it's values and integrity.
Unilever has them by the nuts now and as a corporate conglomeration, doesn't care about the brands ethics. They sold to them, and now it's ruining their brand
