My attempt at making poutine…

After taking the pic, I put it back in the oven for a couple of minutes to get the cheese more "melty".

Never worked up the courage to try it.
@Northwest Do you like cheese fries ? This is just that with gravy. There’s also a recipe for chili poutine-substitute chili for the gravy. Like chili cheese fries.

@Northwest Those are really good. I think you’d probably like the regular poutine recipe. There was a Smokes Poutinerie (popular in Canada) in Berkeley for a time.

@bijouxbroussard The cafeteria chow, back in the day, could be best described as something to keep you alive. But I was introduced to poutine when I moved to within driving distance of B.C.

It didn't take. What I love is Beaver Tails.

It's a friend dough, kind of like donuts, but it's kind of flat and irregular shape. You can top with different things, like Nutella...
