I, the master chef *snicker* is at it again with ribs and baked potatoes
It's cooking at a nice 410 F for an hour and 10 minutes, I'll check before it dings to make sure those ribs aren't burnt, it should be the meal of the century!!
After I eat, I'll quickly go to bed, cuz nothings better after stuffing your tummy than lying down ;) And in the remaining hours of dark Robert Fagles' translation of The Iliad!! I started the Introduction and it's WONDERFUL, I highlighted where I left off there cuz I couldn't wait to get to the text.
I've tinkered with this ancient text since my teenage years, and only since about a month ago has it started to click for me, it's the work I have most translations of, even more than the BIBLE!
If you're gonna post a picture as a response to my food post here, please make it a nasty looking picture so I can feel good about what i'm merely heating up, I don't do recipes, but if I did i'd try my best to get them from @Miram 🤤
