@SwampFlower Of course 😎

Use any beef of your choice. But I recommend using ribeye steak or filet mignon. And 2 lbs of beef should be enough.

Cut the beef into cubes, then marinade it for 30 minutes to overnight with the following sauce combo:
- 2.5 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2.5 tbsp of oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of minced garlic (but you can add more if you want because garlic is measured from the heart 🌝)
- Some black pepper
- 2 tsp of corn starch (to give the beef that crust)

Chop two bell peppers of your choice and one medium onion. Let’s start frying this bish:

1. Get your skillet hot and bothered 😏 and sear the beef cubes until they turn brown then remove them from the pan. It’s important not to overcook the beef because we want a good medium rare.
2. Fry your bell peppers and onions until they get a little char and start smelling smoky. (Optional: Add a pinch of salt to the veggies for extra flavor.)
3. Add back the beef and cook until the flavors get to know each other.
4. Plate up and serve with steamy hot white rice.

You can also sprinkle some sesame seeds on your beef for presentation.

Happy cooking! 👩🏻‍🍳

@Threepio Ayyy I’m glad you’ve tried it out and like it!!!
@LiLShrimp Good stuff but I have to confess that I brown the beef more towards Medium well.... Several of the fam complain when any beef is still red in the center (the trials and tribulations of an Asian spouse). You should see her wrinkle her nose at the presentation of my steak.... I keep telling her "Just throw it in the microwave if you want it brown"...... LOL

@Threepio I’m Asian and my entire family and I love a good medium rare steak. 😆 Your wife just has a weak stomach. 😤
@LiLShrimp I believe it is left over from growing up in "the province" (tiny island in the PI outback) where meat is slaughtered on site (locally) and there is little if any oversight on food. (Read: BURN IT ON THE GRILL TO GET RID OF ANY PARASITES). Truthfully, when I lived there, I always preferred the meat to be cooked Very Well Done.
