There is an old custom or wives tale, that you know it's time to plant your seeds/veg when the soil is warm enough for your bare buttocks to sit on it!

I mean, does anyone believe that or even do this?

It means when the soil temperature is good enough to sit on not the temperature outside. That's what the saying means. 😎
