My parents house always had bad ant problems.
When I find a heaping pile of them outside, I take a tea ketttle full boiling water and pour it on the nest and then I get the enjoyment of watching the song birds swarm in and eat up all the dead ants.

@cherokeepatti I didn't have any orange oil...I used a mixture of syrup and borax.
