Anyone else make porridge this way?



Basically heated up in pre melted butter (ghee). Ghee has almost zero salt. Heat it up in normal butter taste will not be the same.

During porridge is heating up add sugar / honey. Then milk or water once the oats are goldenish.

I use one measure of porridge oats, two measures of milk & water, a teaspoon of honey, handful of dried fruit and simmer/stir until it has a smooth texture.
