Sometimes I'll watch these cooking videos of how people used to cook dishes from hundreds of years back

Many of which are just normal everyday meals and just showing how they were cooked from way back when. Naturally, it's a lot more difficult and meticulous than how we cook nowadays, but those who do it say those old style methods make the food taste even better than the way they're cooked today. Some videos even serve them to people who never tried meals cooked like that before and they're always quick to agree. Cooking sure is a lot easier than it was hundreds of years back, but it seems that in making it so, we've sacrificed a lot of the quality that came with cooking food the old-fashioned way.

Nothing like cooking outside old school way over an open wood flame or coals especially roast duck. 🤣😂 I sorry, couldn’t resist.

As long as those ancient dishes are dishwasher-friendly, what does it matter?

@jshm2 Every time I see that you've reacted to one of my posts before your impending comment, I always think "Oh, this ought to be good." 🙄
