Wish me luck

.I just harvested my garden and have a lot of extra tomatoes and peppers and green beans. I plan on canning some salsa and pickling the green beans.
I will have more again real soon. I found recipes online but if anybody has a recipe or two to share, let me know.

this tomato soup recipe comes out so good. you just have to boil the tomatoes for a minute to peel them first (slice an x into the bottom first) and remove ALL of the seeds then chop and use in place of the canned tomatoes

eta- also i just use half the amount of dill (dried instead of fresh) and add it all at the same time.

this is an easy way to cook a lot of green beans when you're tired of plain.

@Penny thanks. The tomato soup is too much work since i don't eat much soup andbi love salsa. But green beans sound good.

@friendlykinkster do you like chili? you could make a pot of chili with some of all that in the pic

The salsa sounds a very good idea. Ive got a surplus of tomatoes, chillies and capsicums, so may try it. Good luck.
