What inspires your cooking lately?

For me, its usually shows. A surprising number of genres, including anime, are now all about cooking.
Having someone to make smile with a meal also helps!

I will hear about something or see a pic online and think that looks or sounds delicious so i have to make it for myself. I just realized today that Monday is Memorial Day so I'm going to smoke some meats i have a brand new smoker so Monday will be my 1st time firing it up.

@AngelUnforgiven In the US, Memorial Day is a Monday, but it's 26 May...not 19 May...
