my oldest girl cooks

My 7 year old cooks breakfast on Saturday and dinner twice a week. today it was pancakes from scratch and sausage links shes getting good. With 3 daughters in a few years i might not have to cook at all lol. jk i love to cook but cooking is a skill every girl needs.

So you had her--your 7-yr-old--when you were between about 15 and 18?

Nice that she is learning to cook. Everyone should know that.

@Mountainlady16 So you had the 9-yr-old at 15?
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F

@Mountainlady16 Wow.

Is that unusual where you are?
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F

@SomeMichGuy im mennonite its normal for my church
@Mountainlady16 I'm sure that they do! Is it too prying to ask in which state you live?
@Mountainlady16 I've known Mennonite and Amish persons.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy i live in georgia.
@Mountainlady16 Nice.

So were you married at 14, then?
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy so you know though we are very new order compared to some mennonites for instance the fact i own a computer and have a social media account alone lol. we still very gender roles based
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy 15 um as my mom says teenagers will still be teenagers we just get married quick and dont talk about it
@Mountainlady16 Well, your Mom is right and Mennonites seemed more...reasonable than Amish, if I may say so.

@SomeMichGuy right for medical reasons i wont have more children i had to have csections with all my kids amish wouldnt care
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy gives me and my husband opportunity to help others we have a young couple who lives with us they have 2 kids since i work full time she helps me out with housework and childcare while her husband works and they save money
@Mountainlady16 C-sections bc of relative size or other concerns?

I have a good friend whose wife had as many children as you, I think, all via C-sections.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy my 9 year old was transverse and due to my age and small stature they didnt want to try to move him. my 7 year old was born at 32 weeks and they did a csection because it was considered safer. After that a vbac wasnt considered a good idea
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy we have 6 my last 2 was a set of twins though i had another set as well my 3rd pregnancy was twins and i lost one baby when i was 8 weeks pregnant
@Mountainlady16 Yes, that was similar to my friend's wife--once you get on the C-section train, they are more likely to keep you there (and evaluate whether or not another pregnancy is safe).
@Mountainlady16 Sorry about the lost twin. I'm guessing it was fraternal (2 sacs, right?).
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@SomeMichGuy yes his brother will b 6 on the 1st of dec i dont think he really understood he was a twin until i told the kids i was having twins
@Mountainlady16 It's not always easy to hear that.

@SomeMichGuy no though it was never a secret every one of my kids has a newborn picture on the wall in our living room except that baby it is remembered we have a blown up copy of our first ultrasound
