my oldest girl cooks

My 7 year old cooks breakfast on Saturday and dinner twice a week. today it was pancakes from scratch and sausage links shes getting good. With 3 daughters in a few years i might not have to cook at all lol. jk i love to cook but cooking is a skill every girl needs.
So you had her--your 7-yr-old--when you were between about 15 and 18?

Nice that she is learning to cook. Everyone should know that.

Cooking is a survival skill that ALL children should learn, not just girls.

It makes like much more affordable when you leave home to go study in college or get a job and rent an apartment. Guys who can cook can also take turns with their wives and help split the cooking load.

@Mountainlady16 That’s pretty sad considering all you have to do is flick a switch. I’d say he’s lazy.

@Quimliqer right i find it sad when i talk to our cooking teacher at school and she talks about the new high school girls she gets that dont even know the basics that kindergarteners know.
