@OlderSometimesWiser I'm not a fan of corned beef, to me it doesn't have any flavor that pops out. As for straight pastrami I love it grilled on seeded rye with muenster.

@NativePortlander1970 Nooooooo….. cheese on pastrami! Blasphemy! Takes away from that pure pastrami deliciousness!!

Corned beef has a more mellow taste, so the sauerkraut and thousand island dressing enhance its flavor.

@OlderSometimesWiser I find that meunster is mild enough to enhance pastrami's smokey peppery flavor, specially when melted.

@NativePortlander1970 No, Lebanon bologna is not pastrami. Pastrami is good too, though. There are two kinds of Lebanon bologna, sweet and regular. They are both sweet, but "sweet" is sweeter.

@lumberjackslam Try a tuna melt wrap, instead of sammich bread, use a flour tortilla, shred the cheese, and butter toast in a skillet, my late ex fiancee loved it when I made her those.
