My take on this whole Cooking thing I see posted here and there.

If you come to my house, I cook for you and I cook damn well! I do not mind a lady helper in the kitchen that can get sexy to me, and some things may get over cooked or burned and that is what take out is for.

BUT,
If you come over and try to take over my kitchen, I will become the biggest Gordan Ramsey you ever saw, and you will pray to just hand wash the dishes!

Why not just send out for food ?
I'll have vermicelli with chilli oil
Oh and prawn crackers
Oh and a couple of cans of guiness
And extra prawns in the vermicelli, and some potato wedges from Creggs

@Jimbo7 What in God's good name does sending for takeout have to do with home cooking?

When You live in a very rural area like I do to get "Your takeout" it takes two hours to drive one way to a city to get what you described.

And again, takeout has not a dang thing to do with home cooking does it, just saying like you did!
