I'm a holistic chef. You know, like how Dirk Gently is a holistic detective.馃槒
I get in the kitchen with an idea, and then it spontaneously happens from there.

Sometimes I'm not even sure what exactly I'm cooking until the taste all comes together馃

@popmol oh I never follow a recipe 馃槀
I never have ....well, expect for my mums anzacs.

Ive even tried to! ....but I can't help it馃槶
- it's like when I paint, but with cooking :
my taste brain takes over and I start adding stuff that isn't in the recipe , and changing stuff and then it becomes something else, and I can't help it ....I just seem to cook best when I follow inspiration 馃し

@OogieBoogie whats an anzac?
ooh i vaguely do. ooh you say 3 tomatoes 5 carrots and 1 parika? screw you'll do 2 tomatoes 3 carrots and 2 parikas!

aah don't worry cooking remains a loosy goosy science unlike baking which is a hard science!

@popmol AMZAC bickies are a traditional Australian and new Zealand biscuit that were made and sent to Anzac troops during war times by families .They store well, have basic ingredients and were originally designed with war rationing taken into account .

Anzac is short for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps .
They are like a sweet oatmeal cookie .
People have preferences , some like them crunchy , while others prefer them chewy.

Nearly every family used to have their own Anzac recipe .

@OogieBoogie were those troups the ones fighting the emus?
i might make it for my mother but i'm not a fan of oatmeal! bah its dry and not nice at all!
OogieBoogieF
@popmol these aren't dry like oatmeal cookies .
I wish I could make you some , they are really yummy .
I made oatmeal cookies once and I didn't like them - they were rather tastelss and sorta too oaty . The golden syrup in Anzacs makes all th difference .

But they ARE sweet .
I've not made them in years .

@OogieBoogie well if you ever come to belgium or me to australia you can make them 鈽猴笍
