How do you cook the perfect steak?

I tried reverse cooking one last night, and it turned out real good.

@NativePortlander1970 good point. i live on the top floor of a three story building. i'm not sure we are allowed to grill either. i don't think we can because nobody does. i've lived here for 20 years and back in the day everybody used to. i don't think we are even allowed to smoke in our apartments. when i want to smoke a joint i just go in the bathroom and turn on the exhaust...
