Cooking with the kids.

Do you let your kids help with cooking meals.

I always do even though my boy is like a tiny tornado in the kitchen and it takes twice as long because im always cleaning up after him.

ALWAYS teach your kids to cook with you. Some of my best memories were when I was around 7 years old, and my grandmother would let me make cinnamon twists out of scraps of pie crust when she was making pies!

Because that memory was so cool, and I loved it so much, I made cookies and did lots of other craft projects with my son, so that he would have Christmas gifts to do, and I taught him how to cook and when he was about 12 or 13 he used to make super easy dinners for us while I was working.

Pizza Quiks on french bread were one thing I taught him.

Oh I always do. Its often messy but I think itl inspire her to eat better and enjoy cooking when shes older rather than eating out.

Kids just don't seem clean and hygienic enough to be preparing food lol

@Cigarguy101 that's good to hear. I know some friends and family who let their kids help cook and do dishes and none of them washed their hands or use enough dish soap if any and they all stay sick. When I think of kids cooking I think of those families and cringe because I'm very particular about my food it's why I hate eating out
