I ordered a specialty pizza yesterday, with gluten free crust, and the crust was so hard it could not be sliced. The mushrooms and spinach on it were awesome, homever.

@4meAndyou there are so many ways to make gluten free pizza any more, I don’t know why they would make a crust like that

@cherokeepatti It looked like they tried to cut it, and it was so hard that their efforts sent the toppings flying off to the sides.

@4meAndyou geez. I remember when school cafeterias started making pizzas and how tough the crusts were. My aunt worked at the university in food service and she said that they would make the pizza crusts the afternoon before and prebake them so they could assemble them quickly the next day. They were as hard as a rock. And to make the pizzas they’d top those hard crusts with tomato sauce, cheese & toppings and bake them again. It took a lot of effort to chew them and they were the same way in the school cafeterias. I didn’t know how good a pizza could be till the first time I went to a Pizza Hut when I was grown.

@cherokeepatti They're probably ready made, because you can't choose a size...they only come in 10".
