I Love Cooking For People I Love

Today I cooked some blackberry pies. I had picked the blackberries yesterday. I cooked them with a bit of sugar and water in a saucepan. And made pastry. They turned out nice except I didn't put enough sugar in the blackberries.

Well I quite like blackberries to taste like blackberries. But when you are baking for other people they mostly like things to taste sweet.

@blodyn: It should be a bit tart - and use a sweet dough too helps! I am from Washington State - best blackberries ever :-)

What do you mean sweet dough. I just made pastry. It has no sugar in it. What time is it now in Washington State. It is 1745 here. I expect your blackberries are very nice. Ours are not at their best yet. They are sweeter in September. @TheGreatAndrooskie:

I live in Utah it is 10:48 AM - in Wash where I grew up it is 9:48 AM LOL

Ok. Thanks. I thought maybe it was the middle of the night. I heard of Utah. And Salt Lake City. I expect the blackberries are not as good as Washington State!
