The Power of Coffee and a Catch Up.

There is something special about meeting a friend for coffee.
Recently, I enjoyed a coffee date with my dear friend Amy, and it reminded me of the wellbeing benefits that come from such simple moments. It's easy to feel isolated in your own mind sometimes, but sitting down with a friend reminds us that we're not alone. Sharing our thoughts and worries can lighten the mental load and provide a bit of emotional support that's essential for mental health.
And a nice big cream cake helps too .. 🍰

That sort of thing reminds of what what used to happen in the old days when people would go to a coffee shop and have coffee while talking about the town gossip. My grandfather used to do that a lot. I wish the pace of life was that slow again.

This is a very 'girl' thing - guys don't generally do this.

Fantastic though that it gives you connectivity with others though.

@zonavar68 So tell me what do guys do?

@solitaire Generally keep to themselves by comparison. We're very bad at being openly social. I'm super-introverted so it's 10x worse for me. I bascially don't do friends at all.

I miss these times. Haven't had any such get togethers in years. 😕
